Exchange Ambulance of the Islips 5K Run/Walk
This event is a community 5K Run/Walk held at East Islip Marina Park in East Islip with a separate free kids fun run. The event operates rain or shine.
Registrants receive a Dry Fit shirt, with guaranteed shirt size for registrations completed by the organizer's stated deadline. Personalized bibs are available for participants who register at least three weeks in advance. A digital bib option is provided for virtual participants.
Results are published live online and can also be delivered by text or email. Finish line photos and same day video are available at no charge. Bib pickup is offered in advance at the organizer location and on race day through event staff. Last minute registrants can receive their bib number by text shortly after registering.
Awards are presented by gender, age group and specialty categories. Categories include top three overall male and female, top three in age groups from 14 and under through 70 plus, top first responder male and female, and top three teams based on cumulative time for six scoring members.
