About the race
Every Woman’s Marathon is a women-focused marathon event held in New Orleans on February 28, 2027. The main event is a full marathon of 26.2 miles created by women and presented with an organizing team called Team Milk.
The event weekend includes on-site activities such as a wellness fair and expo, a finish festival, and a range of race-day services and logistics information including safety and security, parking and transit. The race program also highlights support for adaptive athletes, volunteer opportunities, and a virtual race option as part of the broader event offerings.
Preparation resources are provided through training materials, expert advice, and local run-club connections associated with Team Milk. Past event metrics from 2025 are noted: more than 7,000 registered runners, 43% first-time marathoners, 14,900 bottles of milk distributed during race weekend, and representation from all 50 states. Team Milk includes designated captains who provide guidance and community support across race weekend.
The presentation emphasizes community, resources for diverse body types and running abilities, and a weekend of complementary activities alongside the marathon distance. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
