Every Mile Counts 5k and Fun Run
Triad Pediatrics Foundation organizes the Every Mile Counts 5k and 1-mile fun run in High Point to raise funds and awareness for a medical mission team traveling to Tenwek Hospital in Kenya this December. The event is held near Triad Pediatrics - Africa and joins the Bicentennial Greenway, offering a course with scenic views.
Children of all ages and babies in strollers are welcome; a small portion of the course is on a sidewalk. The 5 km event is timed and includes prizes for different age groups and overall winners. The 1 mile fun run/walk is untimed and intended for participation. T-shirts are guaranteed for everyone who registers by September 30, 2026.
Registration opens in August 2026 and closes on October 17, 2026. Listed registration fees are $35.00 for the 5k and $30.00 for the 1-mile fun run. Vendors will be present in the parking lot, available during and after the event.
