Every Mile Counts 5k and Fun Run
Every Mile Counts is a fundraising race organized by Triad Pediatrics Foundation to support a medical mission team traveling to Tenwek Hospital in Kenya. The event takes place in High Point and aims to raise funds for the foundation's local and global outreach work.
The course begins at Triad Pediatrics - Africa and follows the Bicentennial Greenway, offering scenic views and a short section along a sidewalk. The event includes the following distances:
- 5K timed with age group and overall prizes
- 1 mile fun run/walk, untimed
Children of all ages and babies in strollers are welcome. T-shirts are guaranteed for registrants by September 30th. A registration fee of $35 applies to each event. Vendors will be present in the parking lot for participants and visitors. This is the second annual edition of the 5K and fun run fundraiser.
