About the race
The Weekday Preschool 5K is the second annual community fun run held in Greensboro on October 3, 2026. The main 5K route goes around Fisher Park and the event is associated with the preschool at 617 North Elm Street.
Distances included:
- 3.1 Miles 5K
- Kids Fun Run slightly less than 800 m and not timed
All proceeds from the event will fund tuition assistance for preschool students. The route is stroller friendly and passes through scenic neighborhoods with occasional route features such as bubbles and park views.
Registration details and fees are provided for each event. For the 5K, registration opens March 25, 2026 and closes October 2, 2026; the registration fee is $35. The Kids Fun Run registration opens June 6, 2026 and closes October 3, 2026; the fee is free. Packet pick up is scheduled for October 2 at Fleet Feet Running Shop, 3731 Lawndale Dr, Greensboro, and there will be a race day packet pick up table and day of race registration. Race parking is at 712 N. Eugene Street, one block from the race location. An award ceremony will take place in the Life Center at the preschool with signage on site.
