Evergreen Trail Race Series
The Evergreen Trail Race Series is a set of four trail race days organized by the Evergreen Park & Recreation District across local parks and open space. A combined-entry package is offered for all four races.
Each race uses natural trails with varied terrain. Course notes include rolling meadows, tree-lined sections, steady downhill stretches along Highway 74, mountain foothill running, and higher-elevation switchbacks on the Too Long Trail. The Bergen Peak half marathon ascends more than 1,300 feet and reaches a peak elevation just under 9,000 feet over an 11 mile course.
Event amenities and logistics vary by race. Several race days list a recreation trailer with games, sponsor and vendor tents, and food and refreshments for spectators and runners. Alderfer / Three Sisters Park has no parking at the park and provides shuttles to the race start; check in, bib pick up, and day-of registration are available at Wulf Recreation Center. The Staunton State Park event requests participants bring a water bottle and is designated a cup free race.
All races list a minimum age of 5 years. Distances and locations for the series are: Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
