Even Splits York 5K (May 2026)
The Even Splits York 5K is a monthly road race held at the University of York Sport Village cycle circuit. The course is flat and run over 5 kilometres in five laps. The event notes suitability for wheelchairs and has an entry limit of 200 places, with 169 places remaining at the time of listing.
Races are chip-timed and results appear on Power of 10. Finish-line results are sent by text and kilometre splits are published the following day. The organiser states that a race licence is applied for.
Entry options include single-race entries and a season pass covering May to November; published prices include race fees and administration charges. Entry on the day is not available. First-time entrants are assigned a race number with an embedded timing chip to be collected from Registration; previously issued red 5K numbers from 2020 to 2025 may be reused in 2026 if recorded on the entry form. Entrants are entitled to one free race-number replacement in any 12 month period, with subsequent replacements charged at £4.
Facilities at Race HQ include water, distance markers and toilets. There are no changing facilities, no showers and no baggage storage. Race HQ is University of York Sport Village, Cycle Circuit, Heslington East, Lakeside Way, YORK, YO10 5FG.
Deferral policy allows a single deferral to the next race in the calendar year if requested at least three days before race day. By entering, participants accept that places are non-refundable and non-transferable. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
