The York 5K on 5 December 2025 is organised by EvenSplits and takes place at the University of York Sport Village Cycle Circuit. Races in this series are held monthly from February to December on the same circuit. Online entry closes at 10:00 on race day and entry on the day is not available. Entry fees are listed as £10.00 (affiliated) and £12.00 (unaffiliated). The event has an entry limit of 200 and the listing shows remaining places as 122. A race licence has been applied for.
The race is chip-timed and is EA licensed, with results appearing on Power of 10. Finish-line results are sent by text and kilometre splits are published the next day. First-time entrants are issued a race number with an embedded timing chip for reuse at York and Leeds 5K. Entrants may reuse previously issued RED 5K numbers from 2020–24 if recorded on the entry form. Entrants have one free number replacement within 12 months; further replacements cost £4. Entries are non-transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be deferred to the 2026 season.
