Event Details
The Farewell See York Run York Challenge is a timed running event on a multi-terrain loop course at York Knavesmire. Participants have seven hours to complete as many laps as they wish on the "Turpin Challenge" route. Each lap is approximately 4.37 miles.
All finishers receive a medal and goody bag, regardless of the number of laps completed. The event includes a family fun run covering one mile on grass before the main start. Adults accompanying children in the fun run must be registered to receive their own medal.
Venue and Logistics
The Race HQ is at Hamilton Panther's Club House, which provides toilets, changing facilities, and showers. Hot drinks and food will be available for purchase. Free parking is located along Knavesmire Road and Racecourse Road.
The event is cupless, so participants must bring their own bottle or cup for drinks. Aid stations will provide squash, water, Coke, sweets, fruit, and savoury snacks. Registration and bib collection occur on the morning of the race.
