Event Overview

The EvenSplits York 5k is a monthly 5-kilometer race held on the flat cycle circuit at the University of York Sport Village. The course is five laps on a road surface. The event is chip-timed and licensed by England Athletics.

Results are sent by text immediately upon finishing, and kilometre split times are published the following day. Participants receive a chocolate bar at the finish. The event has an entry limit of 200 runners.

Registration and Fees

Entry is online only and closes on race day. There is no entry on the day. Fees are £10 for affiliated runners or £12 for unaffiliated runners for a single race. A multi-race pass for the period from April to November is also available. Participants receive a reusable race number with an embedded timing chip upon first entry, which can also be used at the Leeds 5k events.
