Even Splits Leeds 5K
The Even Splits Leeds 5K is a monthly, traffic free 5 kilometre road race held at the Brownlee Centre, University of Leeds. The event on 17 June 2026 is part of a series run each month from February to November.
The course is flat, on road, and consists of three laps. The event is chip timed and is EA licensed; results appear on Power of 10. Finishers receive a text with their finish time as they cross the line and mile splits are published the following day. A chocolate bar is provided at the finish.
Race numbers include an embedded timing chip when issued for the first time. These timing numbers can be used at both Leeds and York 5K. Previously issued red 5K race numbers from 2020 to 2025 may be reused in 2026 if the number is recorded on the entry form. Entrants are entitled to one free number replacement in any 12 month period; subsequent replacements are charged at £4.
Entry is limited to 200 places and entry on the day is not available. Entry fees include race fees and administration. Race facilities include water, distance markers and toilets. There are no changing rooms, no showers and no baggage storage. A place may be deferred once to the next available race in the same calendar year if requested at least three days before race day.
