Event Overview
The Even Splits Leeds 5K is a monthly, traffic-free running event held at the Brownlee Centre, University of Leeds. Races take place from February to November.
Course Details
The event is a 5 km road race. The course is flat and consists of three laps. It is suitable for wheelchairs.
Event Features
The race is chip-timed and EA licensed, with results published online. Results, including finish times, are sent by text message immediately after finishing. Mile split times are published the following day. Participants receive a chocolate bar at the finish line.
A reusable race number with an embedded timing chip is assigned on first entry and can be used for both Leeds and York 5K events. One free number replacement is offered in a 12-month period.
Facilities
Available facilities include water stations, distance markers, and toilets. There are no changing facilities, showers, or a baggage store.
Entry Information
Online entry closes at 10:00 on race day. Entry on the day is not available. There is an entry limit of 200 participants. Entry fees range from £10.00 to £56.00. Options include single race entry or a multi-race pass for events from June to November.
Places can be deferred once to the next available race in the same calendar year if requested at least three days before the race. There are no refunds and race places cannot be transferred to another runner. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
