Even Splits Leeds 5K (JUN '26)
The Even Splits Leeds 5K is a monthly 5 kilometre road race held at the Brownlee Centre, University of Leeds, during February to November. The course is flat and run over three laps. The event is chip timed and results appear on Power of 10; finish-line text results are sent to runners as they cross and mile splits are published the following day. A small post-race refreshment is provided at the finish.
Entries are limited to 200 places with a published residual number of places. Entry on the day is not available. Entry options include single race entries and a multi-race pass for the June to November series with different prices for affiliated and unaffiliated runners. First-time entrants are issued a race number with an embedded timing chip that can be reused at Leeds and York 5K events; this number is collected from Registration on the first visit. Previously issued red 5K numbers from 2020 to 2025 may be reused if recorded on the entry form. Each entrant is entitled to one free number replacement in a 12 month period, with subsequent replacements charged.
Facilities at Race HQ include water, distance markers and toilets. There are no changing rooms, showers or baggage storage. Deferral is allowed once to the next race in the calendar year if requested at least three days beforehand. Places are non-refundable and entries are not transferable.
