The Leeds 5K takes place on 17 June 2026 at the Brownlee Centre, University of Leeds, Bodington Playing Fields. The race distance is 5 kilometres on a flat, road course run over 3 laps. The event is organised by Even Splits. The race is chip-timed and holds an England Athletics licence application; results appear on Power of 10. Finish-line results are sent by text and mile splits are published the next day. A chocolate bar is provided at the finish. The race limit is 200 entries, with 199 places remaining at the time of listing. The course is stated as suitable for wheelchairs.
Entry, fees and facilities
Online entry closes at 10:00 on race day. Entry on the day is not available. Prices shown include race fees and admin: affiliated single entry £10.00; unaffiliated single entry £12.00; Leeds race pass (Jun-Nov) affiliated £47.00; unaffiliated £56.00. When first entered, runners are assigned a race number with an embedded timing chip to collect from registration; previously issued red 5K numbers may be reused if recorded on the entry form. One free number replacement is allowed per 12 months; further replacements cost £4. Deferral to the next race in the calendar year is allowed once if requested at least three days before race day. No refunds or transfers are permitted. Facilities listed include water stations, distance markers and toilets; there are no changing facilities, showers or baggage store.
