About the race
Lindley 10K is a chip timed community road race held on Sunday 27 June 2027 in Lindley, Huddersfield. The event starts and finishes on Lidget Street near Lindley library and uses a certified course covering 10 km in a single lap.
The route begins at 218 metres above sea level, rises to 286 metres at 3 km, drops to 142 metres at 8 km, and returns to 218 metres at the finish. The organisers list an official course cut off time of 1 hour 45 minutes; participants who fall below this pace may continue but may be outside official event support and cannot be guaranteed an official time. The race is not suitable for wheelchairs and the race licence is listed as pending.
Entry is limited to 750 places with remaining spots indicated by the organiser. Early bird prices range from £15 to £30 and include options for affiliated and unaffiliated entries, with an affiliated entry plus a T shirt at the higher early bird tier. Entry on the day is not available. The entry fees are stated to include race fees, card charges and administration.
Facilities noted by the organiser include water stations, distance markers and toilets. There are no changing facilities, no showers and no baggage storage.
