Even Splits Leeds 5K : Leeds, 22 April 2026
The Even Splits Leeds 5K is a monthly road race held at the University of Leeds Brownlee Centre, running from February to November. The event on 22 April 2026 covers 5 kilometres on a flat, three-lap course. The field is limited to 200 entries and the event is suitable for wheelchairs; a race licence has been applied for.
Racing is chip-timed and EA licensed, with results appearing on Power of 10. Finish-line results are sent by text and mile splits are published the following day. Each finisher receives a chocolate bar at the finish.
First-time entrants are issued a race number with an embedded timing chip that can be used at both the Leeds and York 5K events; this number is collected from registration at the first race. Previously issued red 5K race numbers from 2020–25 may be reused in 2026 if recorded on the entry form. Entrants are entitled to one free race number replacement in any 12 month period; subsequent replacements incur a £4 charge.
Race facilities at the Brownlee Centre include water, distance markers and toilets. There are no changing facilities, no showers and no baggage storage. Places may be deferred once to the next race in the same calendar year if requested at least three days before race day. Entry fees vary by affiliation status and by single race or race pass options.
