Event Details

The Even Splits Leeds 5K is a monthly racing series held from February to November at the Brownlee Centre, University of Leeds. The event offers a 5 km road race.

Course and Organization

The course is flat and consists of three laps. It is traffic-free and suitable for wheelchair users. The event is EA licensed, and results are posted on Power of 10. Each race is chip-timed, and results are sent by text message immediately upon finishing. Mile splits are published the following day. There is an entry limit of 200 participants.

Registration and Fees

Participants receive a reusable race number with an embedded timing chip upon first registration. This number can be used for both Leeds and York 5K events. Previously issued red race numbers from 2020-25 can also be reused. One free number replacement is allowed per 12-month period. Entry fees vary:

Affiliated runner, race pass (Apr-Nov): £57
Unaffiliated runner, race pass (Apr-Nov): £69 Online entry closes at 10:00 on race day. Entry on the day is not available.

Facilities
