Event Details
The Even Splits Leeds 5K is a monthly, traffic-free race series held at the Brownlee Centre on the University of Leeds campus. Races take place from February to November. The event is chip-timed and EA licensed. Results are sent by text immediately after finishing, and mile split times are published the following day. All finishers receive a chocolate bar.
Course Information
The 5 km course is on flat, paved roads. The route consists of three laps. The race is suitable for wheelchair users and has an entry limit of 200 participants. The race headquarters are at the Brownlee Centre, Bodington Playing Fields.
Facilities and Services
Available facilities include water stations, distance markers, and toilets. There are no changing facilities, showers, or a baggage store.
Registration and Numbers
Entry fees range from £10 for affiliated runners to £74 for an unaffiliated race pass covering March to November. Online entry closes at 10:00 on race day; there is no entry on the day. First-time entrants are assigned a reusable race number with an embedded timing chip, which is collected at registration and can also be used for York 5K events. Previously issued red race numbers from 2020-2025 can be reused. One free number replacement is allowed per 12-month period. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
