EvenSplits Leeds 5k
The EvenSplits Leeds 5k is a monthly road race held at the University of Leeds Brownlee Centre. The event takes place on a 5 km course consisting of three laps. The route is flat and entirely traffic-free, making it suitable for wheelchairs. The event is EA licensed, ensuring that results are eligible for inclusion on Power of 10 rankings.
Participants are chip-timed, with result notifications sent via text message immediately upon crossing the finish line. Detailed mile splits are provided the following day. The event has an entry limit of 200 runners. Registration takes place at the Brownlee Centre, where first-time participants collect a race number. This number contains an embedded timing chip and is intended for reuse throughout the series.
On-site facilities include toilets, water stations, and distance markers. There are no changing facilities, showers, or baggage storage areas available at the venue. All participants receive a chocolate bar at the finish line. While individual entries are available, runners can also purchase a season pass for the series which runs from February to November.
