Ranger Ultras PB137km Trail Challenge
The Ranger Ultras PB137km Trail Challenge is a 137 km route along the Pennine Bridleway staged over three days in April 2026. The event has a 50 hour cut off and total ascent of 3275 metres. Entry is limited to a small field and the minimum age is 20 on the event date.
The course covers West Yorkshire and North Yorkshire moors and finishes in Cumbria. Surfaces are a mix of runnable trails and more technical, steep ascents. The route follows established trails and public rights of way; on some sections walkers' alternatives are used to avoid roads. Organisers do not add extra signage but provide GPX files and a comprehensive race briefing in advance.
Event support includes indoor checkpoints, an on course safety team, on course water and access to shops and cafes en route. The midway indoor checkpoint at Settle offers hot meals, showers, sleeping space and access to drop bags. The finish is at a hostel with beds, showers, refreshments and a home cooked meal for finishers. Registrations include pre-race bunkroom accommodation on the registration evening. Finishers receive medals and trophies, and the organisers supply navigation notes and safety tracking. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
