About the race
The inaugural Estella's Memorial 5K Race to Cure Pancreatic Cancer is a fundraiser held at the Suffolk County Farm and Education Center in Yaphank, New York. The event benefits the Lustgarten Foundation and supports research into pancreatic cancer. It is hosted by Bohemia Track Club and takes place on the grounds operated by Cornell Cooperative Extension of Suffolk County. The course is a flat loop trail that winds around cornfields and live animals.
While the overall profile is flat, the terrain is described as uneven and strollers are permitted on the course. Due to the presence of farm animals, dogs are not permitted on the farm at any time. Registration opens on September 17, 2026 and closes on October 31, 2026. The registration fee is $25.00.
The event is organized as a 5K run/walk that brings participants together in memory of Estella and to raise funds for pancreatic cancer research. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
