About the race
Located in Brookhaven State Park, Wading River, NY, the Brookhaven Trail Half Marathon and 5 Mile offer two trail-running distances. The course traverses a mix of Suffolk County woodlands, including single-track, fire roads, sandy sections, and hidden ponds, starting near the park entrance off William Floyd Parkway. The Half Marathon features overall and age-group prizes, including a $150 cash award for the top male and female, and a new expanded age-group format; the 5 Mile offers age-group awards.
