The 13th ERN LP Run
The ERN LP Run is a timed track event held at Meadowmill Sports Centre, near Tranent, on 26 September 2026. Runners have 33 minutes and 20 seconds to complete as many laps of the track as they can; music selected by entrants plays throughout, with the 2026 theme "tracks from our youth." Entrants are invited to nominate a tune when they register.
The event supports The Junction (charity SC036721); all profits and donations on the day go to the charity's activities. The LP Run is held under a Scottish Athletics Track and Field permit and follows UK Athletics rules. Every entrant receives a biscuit medal; there are prizes for top finishers and additional spot awards. Dietary requirements can be accommodated on request.
Other features include junior races, refreshments of tea, coffee and cakes after the run, a kit swap for donated clothing, optional fancy dress with prizes, and event T-shirts available by pre-order for £12.50. T-shirt orders and music requests must be placed by 31 August. Entry fees are shown as £16 discounted and £18 standard, with discounted entry for members of SA EA WA. Total event places are 120.
