Event information
The Erie Half & 5k takes place on Sunday, August 16, 2026, in Erie, Colorado. The race start/finish area is at Reliance Park, 900 County Road 1.5, Erie, CO 80516. The event is part of the Hometown Race Series, a set of three local events in Colorado outside the Denver and Boulder metro areas. The half marathon registration is open to ages 14 and up.

Registration fees listed on the event page include a half marathon price of $64.60 (includes $4.60 fee) and a 5k price of $39 (includes $4 fee). Prices are noted to increase after December 31, 2025. A MapMyRun course map and a Map view are provided for route reference. The event is listed as an official qualifier for BolderBoulder.
On-site services and community programs
All registrants receive a short-sleeve, gender-specific T-shirt. Every finisher in both the 5k and the half marathon receives a finisher medal. Advanced packet pickup details are listed as TBD (date, time, location TBD). RaceJoy free GPS tracking is available.
The event hosts community programs: a food drive for Sister Carmen where anyone who brings five non-perishable items on race day is entered into a race-day raffle, and a Sneakers4Good shoe-collection fundraiser that accepts gently worn or new athletic shoes for donation to Growing Home.
