Erie Half & 5k
The Erie Half & 5k takes place in Erie, Colorado, at Reliance Park (900 County Road 1.5, Erie, CO 80516) on August 16, 2026. The event is part of the Hometown Race Series, a set of community races held in towns around the Denver and Boulder metro areas.
The event program includes these distances:

All registrants receive a short-sleeve, gender-specific t-shirt. Every finisher in both the half marathon and the 5k receives a finisher medal. The race offers course maps, timing and awards, RaceJoy GPS tracking, advanced packet pickup, and race-day support and parking.
The event also coordinates community and charity activities. It hosts a food drive for Sister Carmen; participants who bring five non-perishable items on race day are entered into a race-day raffle. A current list of most-needed items includes canned beans, toiletries, rice and other grains, pastas, cereals, and crackers. The race partners with Sneakers4Funds to collect gently used or new athletic shoes; donations benefit Growing Home. Shoes may be dropped off at advanced packet pickup or on race day.
Discounted multi-race bundles are available through the Hometown Race Series; bundle options include two-race and three-race packages with per-event discounts.
