Event overview
The Epic Dino Dash Relay & 5K is the third annual edition of a dinosaur-themed running event on March 14, 2026. The event takes place at The Epic, 2960 Epic Place, Grand Prairie, TX 75052. It includes a 5K fun run and inflatable-costume relay races on the Grand Lawn. The event is subject to cancellation for inclement weather; no refunds or rain checks will be issued.

The 5K is open to all ages. Relay races are for participants aged 18 and older. Entry fees listed on the event page are $30 for the 5K and $20 for the relay; prices increase after December 31, 2025 at 11:59pm CST.
Course and relay format
The 5K course runs around the pond and through Epic Central. Relay teams are provided matching inflatable dinosaur costumes. Each relay team runs two laps around the pond between The Epic and The Summit, with a baton handoff at the half-way point. Relay fields may include up to five teams of four (20 participants per race); the number of relay races will depend on registration. Participants in both events receive a shirt and a swag bag; 5K finishers receive a dinosaur-themed medal. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
