Epic Dino Dash 5K & Relay
The Epic Dino Dash 5K & Relay is a dinosaur-themed event held in Grand Prairie, Texas. The event features several race options located at The Epic Rec on the Grand Lawn, including competitive runs and a unique relay.
Participants can choose from various race formats:
- Epic 5K: A course for all ages that circles the pond and travels through Epic Central.
- Dino Dash Relay: A race for teams of four who compete in provided inflatable dinosaur costumes.
- Kids Dino Dash Fun Run: A 1k (0.62 mile) non-timed run for children aged 12 and under.
- Volunteer Then Run: An option for participants aged 16 and older to assist with the event.
The 5K participants receive a shirt, a swag bag, and a dinosaur-themed medal upon completion. For the relay, teams of four run two laps around the pond situated between The Epic and The Summit, passing a baton at the halfway point. Matching inflatable costumes are provided to all relay teams. Registration for the Kids Fun Run does not include a shirt, though commemorative tees are available for purchase on the day of the event.
