Rossi EF5K and Community Walk - Rostrevor, 18 July 2026
The Rossi EF5K is a chip-timed, professionally measured 5K road race held in Rostrevor as part of the Fiddler's Green Festival on 18 July 2026. The route runs through the village and returns to a finish in Rostrevor Square. A separate shorter, family-friendly walk follows a new 3K circuit through the village and Pettitt Park.
The event includes a packaged entry option that bundles race entry, an event T-shirt, a finisher's medal and access to a preparatory six-week Couch to 5K programme. The preparatory programme is run in partnership with a local GAA healthy clubs committee and meets at St Bronagh’s GAA Social Club Car Park on Shore Road; it aims to progress participants from walk-run intervals to completing the event.
On the day, race pack collection and on-the-day registration take place in Rostrevor Square. The event is community led and the 2026 proceeds support local causes, including a specialist end-of-life nursing service and a GAA club development fund. The organiser presents the event as an opportunity for runners, walkers and families from the local area to take part in a measured race and a community walk during the festival weekend.
