English Riviera Race, Torquay
The English Riviera Race is new for 2026 and forms part of the English Riviera Sports Festival. It is held on a completely closed road circuit around the centre of Torquay on smooth tarmac. The lap distance is exactly 5K and the course has a small amount of climbing, with total elevation of approximately 47 metres per 5K lap.

- 5K one lap
The 10K is two laps of the 5K circuit and lap time splits will appear in the results. A UK Athletics licence has been applied for, the course will be accurately measured and the event will be run under UK athletics rules, with results appearing on Power of 10. Professional chip timing is used.
The start and finish are on the road next to Torre Abbey Meadows in Torquay. The route follows the seafront west towards Preston, turns at about 2.4 km and retraces to complete a loop around the back of Torre Abbey.
