Event overview
The Endure24 Reading event is a 24-hour relay race for individuals, pairs, and teams of up to 12 people. It takes place at Wasing Park near Reading and involves running multiple laps on a trail course.
Format and course
Participants aim to complete as many laps as possible within 24 hours. The course is an 8-kilometre trail loop through Wasing Park. The terrain is described as undulating and passes landmarks like the 15th-century Church of St Nicholas and Wasing Wood.
Facilities and venue
The event site includes an Event Village with food vendors, retail stalls, a bar, and a children's zone. Camping is available on the Wasing Park estate for participants and their supporters. Dogs and children are permitted on site.
Team types and entry
There are three main participation categories.
- Solo: Individual runners can camp in a dedicated Solo & Pairs area.
- Pairs: Teams of two also have access to the dedicated camping area.
- Teams: Groups of 3 to 12 people.
General entry for Solo and Pairs categories is noted as sold out, but charity entries are available. Team entries (3-12 people) are available through general entry, with prices varying by team size. Charity entries are offered for all categories, with fees starting from £25 per person.
Awards
Solo runners who complete 100 miles can earn a membership to a club and receive an exclusive yellow T-shirt. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
