Sussex Coastal Trail Run : Eastbourne, 7 March 2026
This trail running event is based at Helen Gardens in Eastbourne and uses coastal routes that run alongside the Seven Sisters and the English Channel. Courses pass the coastal towns of Eastbourne and Seaford and lie within the eastern section of the South Downs National Park. Runners encounter chalk cliff coastline and rolling downland with varied ups and downs.
Terrain and event features are described as strenuous, with chalk and forest underfoot. The event offers multiple distances:
- 10K : 6.4 miles, ascent 1276 ft
- Half Marathon : 13.1 miles, ascent 2185 ft
- Marathon : 26.2 miles, ascent 4196 ft
- Ultra : 32.5 miles, ascent 5266 ft
All distances were shown at full capacity for this date. Entries include a fully marked course, electronic timing with split times, finishers medal, energy bars, and multiple on-site amenities. Event parking may incur charges. Add-on bookings such as massages were listed but were closed for this event. Bib numbers are collect-at-event only and are available from the main event marquee; a mobile phone is required to collect a bib.
