Classic Quarter 2026
The Endurancelife Classic Quarter on 6 June 2026 is a 44 mile ultra marathon along the south Cornish coast from Lizard Point to Land's End, following the South West Coast Path. The course records show substantial elevation with total ascent of 5,531 ft. Terrain includes rock, mud and trail under often exposed coastal conditions.
The event is offered as a Solo category or as relay teams of two or four. It forms part of the Endurancelife 2025-26 season and awards points for the Seasonal Leaderboard. The 2026 event has reached full capacity and a waitlist is available for any places that open.
Participant information and logistics include updated event manuals and changes to some transition locations. Transition 2 now uses a parking field at Perranuthnoe. Transition 3 has moved from Lamorna Cove to Raginnis Hill, south of Mousehole, and the Penzance pitstop used in 2025 has been removed. Bib distribution varies by check-in date: solos who completed check-in by 24 May will have bibs posted; others and international participants must collect bibs at the marquee at Lizard. All relay team bibs and team batons are collected on event morning; team bibs display a common team number. Complimentary parking is provided at Land's End for one vehicle per Solo entry or relay team, and an optional coach service to the start is offered for solos.
