Run Mawnan
Run Mawnan is a yearly, family friendly road race organised by Falmouth Rotary to raise money for charities. The event takes place in Mawnan Smith, Cornwall, with the start and finish at Carwinion Playing Field and routes that pass village landmarks and river views of North Helford.

All competitors follow road routes through the village. The route passes the Red Lion Pub and Trebah Gardens. At the turning for Helford Passage runners head back to the village; 5K competitors return to the playing field while 10K competitors continue north through Boskensoe, Tregarne and Penwarne before returning to the finish. The children’s fun run goes past the primary school and along Carwinion Lane back to the playing field. A complimentary drink station is provided on the 10K route.
Entry is by registration. Entry on the day is available subject to a surcharge and finisher items for on the day entries are not guaranteed. Entry fees stated by the organiser include: Children’s Fun Run £6, 5K under 18 £12, 5K 18 and over £16, 10K 18 and over £18, with a £4 reduction for NUS students.
Age rules: 10K entrants must be 18 or older; the children’s fun run is for up to 12 years old and children under 7 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Refreshments and post race facilities include a licensed bar, barbecue, cake stall, entertainment, a raffle, massage and other stalls. Prize categories are defined by age bands for each race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
