Run Mawnan

Run Mawnan is an annual charity running event organised by Falmouth Rotary Club in the Cornish village of Mawnan Smith. The event is family friendly and raises money for local charities. The meeting point is Carwinion Playing Field, Mawnan Smith TR11 5JD.

The event includes multiple races and a children fun run, with family activities, food, a raffle and prizes. On site parking is available at the playing field, though vehicles may be subject to event access rules.

The courses are mostly on surfaced roads with a finish into the playing field and short sections of bumpy pot holed road. Both main races are undulating with some long gradual hills. Estimated total climb is about 200 ft for the 5k and about 360 ft for the 10k. Pushchairs are permitted on the courses provided runners keep clear of others at the start.

Entry information is published by the organiser and includes online entry options. Entry on the day has been offered in past years with an additional fee and goody bags or medals for late entries were not guaranteed. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
