Barr Lake Trail Race
The Barr Lake Trail Race takes place on June 5, 2027 at Barr Lake State Park in Brighton, Colorado. The event offers multiple trail distances around the lake with continuous views of the water and the Front Range, and staging at the park Nature Center.

- 50K
- 30K
- Half Marathon
- 15K
- 5K
All courses are run on 100% dirt. The longer events use multiple loop formats (three loops for the 50K, two loops for the 30K and half marathon); the 15K is one loop and the 5K is an out-and-back. Per-loop elevation gain is low, generally under 100 feet; listed total elevation gains vary by distance.
Aid station and support details differ by race: the 50K and 30K list three aid stations, the half marathon lists three aid stations, the 15K lists one aid station, and the 5K has no aid stations. Crews are allowed to support runners at the finish area; pacers are not permitted for any distance. A designated drop bag area is available at the start/finish area. Parking is at the lot next to the staging area and state park fees are included in race registration fees.
