End Alzheimer's 5K
The End Alzheimer's 5K takes place on June 20, 2026 at Arrowhead Park, 989 State Rd., Cheraw, SC 29520. The event is presented by the Purple Crusaders as part of the 5th Annual Longest Day Walk fundraiser and is a Pee Dee Grand Prix event. Donations are accepted to benefit local initiatives to ENDALZ.
Registration is required for 5K participants; walking is free. Registration opens December 31, 2025. Fee structure: $30 until June 1, $35 June 2 to June 20, and $40 on race day. Shirts will be available for participants who register by June 1; adult sizes S–XXL and youth sizes S–L are listed.
Awards are given by gun time with overall top three male and female finishers and top three in each age group. Age groups: 9 and under, 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and over.
Packet pickup is at Arrowhead Park under the covered picnic table area: June 19, 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm and June 20, 7:00 am to 7:45 am. Event notes: strollers are welcome, participants may listen to music while running, and pets are not allowed. Volunteers are requested to support the event.
