Encinitas Turkey Trot
The Encinitas Turkey Trot is a Thanksgiving morning running event in Encinitas, California. The course runs along the Pacific Coast and starts and finishes under the "ENCINITAS" sign on Coast Highway 101. Distances offered include:

- Fun Run 1k for ages 8 and under

The event supports community and charity partners, including VANC and a local Boy Scouts troop. The race hosts a costume contest with cash prizes for individual and group divisions: 1st place $300, 2nd place $200, and 3rd place $100. Costume awards are given to top entries that display the spirit of Thanksgiving; normal running attire is not considered a costume.
