Encinitas Turkey Trot
The Encinitas Turkey Trot is an annual Thanksgiving running event held in Encinitas. The course starts and finishes under the large ENCINITAS sign on Coast Highway 101 and includes multiple distance options for families and individual participants.

Packet pickup is available at Road Runner Sports in Carlsbad; the organizer recommends collecting bibs and shirts there in the days before the event. The packet pickup location is listed as 5617 Paseo Del Norte #100, Carlsbad, CA 92008, with pickup dates in late November and specified pickup hours on those days.
Race-day operations note water stations throughout the course and at the start and finish areas. Gear check is not provided. Strollers are permitted and BOB style strollers are encouraged. Pets, bicycles, rollerblades, skateboards, and similar wheeled devices are not allowed on the course.
Parking options near the event include Moonlight Beach lot, street parking on 2nd and 3rd Street, the Encinitas City Hall lot, and the Encinitas City Library lot.
