Event details
The Empire Ranch Trail Run is scheduled for January 24, 2026 at Empire Ranch, 16655 E Empire Ranch Rd, Sonoita, AZ 85637. The event is produced in partnership with the Empire Ranch Foundation and Run Tucson and will raise funds for the Empire Ranch Foundation. The event is capped at 500 total registrants. Entry fees listed in the event information are $30 for most events and $10 for the children's mile.

Course and logistics
The course runs on a combination of dirt trails, BLM 2-track, cattle paths, and Empire Ranch lands within the Las Cienegas National Conservation Area. Organizers describe the planned trail as generally "green" in technical difficulty, with some rocky sections and rolling hills. Cattle may be present on the property. Dogs are not permitted on the running courses. The course is not suitable for chair athletes and may be difficult for visually impaired athletes. There is parking on site. Participant amenities listed include a souvenir race shirt, age-group and overall awards, post-race snacks, post-race demonstrations and vendors, and finisher videos for timed events.
