Arizona Monster 300

The Arizona Monster 300 is a point-to-point ultramarathon located in Patagonia, Arizona. The route covers a total of 304 miles through the Sonoran desert in Southern Arizona, an area characterized by a mix of aridity and moisture that supports diverse flora and fauna.

The course features significant elevation changes, with 41,162 feet of elevation gain and 42,463 feet of elevation loss. The terrain is primarily composed of single-track trails, but also includes some bike paths and road sections:

  • 259.1 miles of single-track trail
  • 34 miles of bike path
  • 9.5 miles of paved road
  • 6 miles of dirt road

The event takes place on National Forest Lands and traverses backcountry terrain and high-elevation mountains. Participants have a total cutoff time of 170 hours to complete the journey. The course is supported by 19 aid stations positioned along the route. Registration for the event is open until sold out, with no lottery requirement for entry.
