Arizona Monster 300 (March 29 - April 4, 2027)
The Arizona Monster is a 300.5 mile point-to-point ultramarathon through the Sonoran Desert around Patagonia, Arizona. The route crosses backcountry terrain and high-elevation mountain ranges and moves through long sections of single-track, bike path, dirt road, and paved road.
Course statistics include 41,162 feet of elevation gain and 41,463 feet of elevation loss. The event lists 19 aid stations and a total cutoff of 150 hours, equal to 6 days and 6 hours. The event provides live runner tracking, drop bag transport to many aid stations, aid stations with food and drinks, sleep stations, and an on-site medical team. Organizers offer a bus option to reach the start when parking at the finish is preferred. Registered participants receive event items including a duffel bag and race shirt, and finishers receive awards such as handmade buckles, a custom finisher print, and a finisher mug.
Registration for the 2027 race uses a lottery system. Lottery registration opens April 10, 2026, runs through April 26, and lottery winners are announced April 27.
