The Arizona Monster 300 is a 304-mile point-to-point ultramarathon through the Sonoran Desert in Southern Arizona, with the official location listed as Patagonia, AZ. The route crosses National Forest Lands and passes a mix of backcountry terrain and high-elevation mountains within the Sonoran ecosystem.
Course metrics include approximately 304 miles total, 41,162 feet of elevation gain and about 41,463 feet of elevation loss, and a 170 hour cutoff (7 days and 2 hours). The course surface is predominantly single-track (about 259.1 miles, 84%), with sections of bike path (34 miles, 10%), paved road (9.5 miles, 3%), and dirt road (6 miles, 2%).
