Arizona Monster 300
The Arizona Monster is a 300.5 mile point to point ultra running event in Superior, AZ. The race is organized by Destination Trail and is scheduled for March 29 to April 4, 2027. Entry for the 2027 edition uses a lottery system with registration opening April 10, 2026 and the lottery window running April 10 to April 26, 2026; lottery winners will be announced April 27, 2026.
The course covers 300.5 miles with reported elevation gain of 41,162 feet and elevation loss of 41,463 feet. There are 19 aid stations and a total time cutoff of 150 hours, which equals 6 days and 6 hours. Terrain breakdown lists about 259.1 miles or 84 percent single track, 34 miles or 10 percent bike path, 9.5 miles or 3 percent paved road, and 6 miles or 2 percent dirt road.
Event services include live runner tracking, drop bag transport to many aid stations, aid stations that double as sleep stations, a bus option to the start for those who park at the finish, a medical team on site, and a variety of food and drink offerings along the course. Participants receive event gear such as a duffel bag and race shirt and finisher awards including handmade buckles, a custom print, and a finisher mug. The event donates to local organizations including the Arizona Trail Association, Patagonia Youth Enrichment Center, and a local food bank.
