The Sonoita Vineyards Wine Run 5k takes place on Saturday, February 14, 2026 at Sonoita Vineyards, 290 Elgin Canelo Rd, Elgin, AZ 85611. The event includes these distances:

- 1.5 Mile Walk
Registration is open to a wide age range and the event lists entry for ages 1 to 99. Registration includes a T-shirt, a shatterproof collapsible wine glass, a finisher medal, a chip-timed race bib and online results. Minors receive a discounted registration that includes a shirt, medal and bib; minors do not receive a wine glass or a pour of wine.
Course, awards and logistics
The course starts and finishes at the winery and runs through the vineyard. It is a two-lap route with some areas of uneven footing and a few inclines. Participants who complete one lap may notify the timer to be scored in the 1.5 mile division. The race is professionally timed and scored by J3 Timing and results are posted online. Free race photos are available for download.
The event lists the Patagonia Youth Enrichment Center as the local charity partner. Age group awards are given to the top three finishers in each 10-year category: 19 & under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79 and 80 & over. Packet pick-up is available on race morning only. A virtual participation option with packet shipping is offered for an additional shipping and handling charge. Dogs are not allowed on site.
