The Sonoita Vineyards Wine Run 5k takes place on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at Sonoita Vineyards in Elgin, Arizona (290 Elgin Canelo Rd). The event offers two distances:

The race is chip timed and scored by J3 Timing, with results posted online.

Course, registration and awards

The course starts and finishes at the winery and runs through the vineyard. It is a two-lap route with areas of uneven footing and a few inclines. If a participant completes the first lap and does not continue, they may notify the timer to be switched to the 1.5 mile division.

Registration includes a T-shirt, a shatterproof collapsible wine glass, a finisher medal, a chip-timed race bib, online results, and a pour of wine. Minors receive a discounted registration that includes a shirt, medal and bib but do not receive a wine glass or a pour of wine. Packet pick-up is available on race morning beginning one hour before the race start.

The event names the Patagonia Youth Enrichment Center as its local charity partner. Age group awards will be given to top finishers in each age category; awards must be collected at the registration table on race day and will not be shipped.
