Emma's Run
Emma's Run is a community event taking place in Sharon, Massachusetts. It is held at Memorial Park Beach on 1 Beach St.
The event includes several timed activities:
- A 0.1 mile kids dash
- A 1.2 mile kids run
- A 5 mile run
- A 2.5 mile walk
For those not participating in the run or walk, the event offers free activities such as face painting, bubbles, a nature-themed craft table, a DJ, and food. These activities are described as family-friendly.
The first 800 registrants, which includes children, receive an event t-shirt. All funds raised go to the Emma Greenspan Foundation.
Participants can pick up their race bibs early at The Run House, located at 15 West St in Walpole, MA. On the day of the event, parking is available at Sharon High School (181 Pond St) and Memorial Park Beach. The Memorial Park Beach parking lot is closed from approximately 9:30 AM to 10:20 AM during the events.
Strollers are allowed on the 2.5 mile walk and 5 mile run courses, but pets are not permitted on any course. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
