Event overview
Emma's Run takes place on May 3, 2026 in Sharon, MA. It is the fifth annual running event held in memory of Emma. The event includes these distances:
- 0.1 mile Kids Dash (free)
- 1.2 miles Kids Run (free, chip timed)
- 5 miles Run ($15)
- 2.5 miles Walk ($15)
The 5-mile run uses a USATF certified course around Lake Massapoag. The first 800 registrants, including children, will receive an event t-shirt. All funds raised go directly to the Emma Greenspan Foundation.
Logistics and other information
Early bib pick up is scheduled for Saturday, May 2 at The Run House, 15 West St, Walpole, MA 02081. On-site activities include face painting, bubbles, a nature crafts table, a DJ, and food. Strollers are allowed on the 2.5-mile walk and the 5-mile run course; pets are not allowed. Course maps are available through the event's course map page. Parking is available at Sharon High School, 181 Pond St, Sharon, MA 02067, and at Memorial Park Beach, 1 Beach St, Sharon, MA 02067; the Memorial Park Beach lot will be temporarily closed during the race.
