BTC Triathlon Series

BTC Triathlon Series : SquareOne Race 2

SquareOne Race 2 is part of the BTC Triathlon Series held at Middle Head, Chowder Bay in Mosman, New South Wales. The event uses sheltered open-water swim conditions at Obelisk Beach, a multi-lap cycle on Chowder Bay Road, and a run through the historical barracks and bushland of Middle Head Reserve.

Course distances:

• 400 m swim : one lap starting and finishing at Obelisk Beach
• 15 km bike : five laps of Chowder Bay Road
• 4 km run : two laps on Middle Head Road and reserve bush tracks

Races are described as traffic free and are presented as introductory triathlons for newcomers as well as events for experienced triathletes. A race manual and full course description with maps are provided by the organiser.

Entry fees vary by membership status:

• A$60 per race for BTC and Warringah Tri Club members
• A$70 per race for TA non BTC members
• A$75 per race for non BTC or TA members
