Ellensburg Morning Rotary FireCracker 5k Run
The event is a community race held at Rotary Park in Ellensburg, Washington, on July 4, 2026. It includes a main 5K run and a separate kids program with short sprint distances. All children in the kids program receive a prize and may enter both short races.
Registration opens February 1, 2026, and online registration closes July 3, 2026. A t-shirt registration option is available through June 26, 2026. Onsite registration is available on race day and payment by cash, check, or card is accepted. Entry fees listed are $25 for the 5K and $5 for the kids races.
Awards are given to the top three male and top three female finishers in the 5K, plus a first place youth boy and girl award for competitors 14 years and under. Proceeds benefit the Ellensburg Morning Rotary Local Foundation to support needs in Ellensburg and Kittitas County.
