Ellensburg Morning Rotary FireCracker Run
The Ellensburg Morning Rotary FireCracker Run is a community sports event held at Rotary Park in Ellensburg, Washington. Taking place on July 4, the event features a flat course designed for speed. Participants can choose between several distances:
- 5K Fun Run
- 400m dash (for children aged 6-10 years)
- 100m dash (for children aged 5 years and under)
Registration is available online until the day before the event, with on-site registration also open on the morning of the race. Participants who register by June 26 have the option to include a commemorative t-shirt. All children participating in the youth dashes receive a prize.
Awards are presented to the top three male and female finishers in the 5K category. Recognition is also given to the first-place youth boy and girl in the division for those aged 14 and under. All proceeds from the event are directed to the Ellensburg Morning Rotary Local Foundation to support community needs within Ellensburg and Kittitas County.
