Event details

The Elizabeth 8K is scheduled for Saturday, April 25, 2026, in the Elizabeth Neighborhood of Charlotte, NC (1515 Bartow Ct.). The event marks its 40th anniversary and has drawn more than 1,300 runners in recent years. The course starts and finishes just off Elizabeth Avenue and runs through historic, tree-lined residential and commercial streets in the neighborhood.

1.5 Mile untimed run/walk
Liz Kids' Fun Run free ~50-yard dash for children six and under, no registration required

Registration uses tiered pricing for the 8K and the 1.5 Mile event. Race management may cancel or modify the event due to unfavorable conditions. There are no refunds unless Refund Protection was purchased, and there are no deferrals. Registration fees are not refundable in the event of cancellation due to Acts of God.

Proceeds benefit the Elizabeth Community Association and TreesCharlotte.
