TriLending Eliminator at John Landy Athletic Field
The event is an eliminator format held at John Landy Athletic Field in South Geelong. It features three distances run as part of a staged competition where initial races determine qualification for a final short race.

All entrants run both the 4 km and 3 km races. Those two races use sealed handicaps and runners will be re-handicapped according to current form. To reduce congestion on the track, runners will be started in waves. The 4 km and 3 km races are conducted as time trials, and placings in those individual races do not determine qualification for the 2 km final.
Combined times from the 4 km and 3 km races are used, then handicaps are applied to identify the 20 runners who will compete in the 2 km final. The 2 km final uses a normal handicap start.
After the races there will be presentation of the season awards, including the Sealed Series and the Championships. A short annual general meeting will follow the presentation.
