ELIH Foundation 5K Family Walk/Run
Eastern Long Island Hospital Foundation presents the 10th Annual ELIH Foundation Family Walk-Run on September 13, 2026, at Indian Island County Park in Riverhead, New York. The event raises funds for Stony Brook Eastern Long Island Hospital’s Behavioral Health Center of Excellence and supports the hospital’s Behavioral Health Services and addiction and psychiatry programs.
Distances included in the program:
- 3.1 Miles ELIH 5K (adult)
- 3.1 Miles ELIH 5K (ages 6–12)
- 0.5 Miles Kids Fun Run
Registration fee structure is listed as Adults (ages 13+) $30, Kids (ages 6–12) $10, and Kids Fun Run $0. Registration opens 12/23/2025 and closes 9/12/2026. T-shirts are guaranteed for participants who register by 9/2.
Awards are planned for the top three overall male and female finishers and for the top three male and female finishers in each of the listed age groups: 12 and under, 13–18, 19–24, 25–29, 30–34, 35–39, 40–44, 45–49, 50–54, 55–59, 60–64, 65–69, and 70+.
