The Electrolit 5000 is scheduled for Saturday, August 8, 2026, at California State University, Los Angeles (5151 University Drive, Los Angeles, CA 90032). The event is billed as the inaugural edition and includes a 5K Run/Walk. Entry fee is listed as $59.30, including a $4.30 processing fee.
Course and services
The 5K course is described as flat and fast along University Drive and the main campus corridor, with a start inside Jessie Owens Stadium and a finish at the top of Parking Lot C just north of the student union. The route passes historical monuments. The event uses chip timing through Aztlan Athletics; results will be available at the registration area after crossing the finish line.
Water and Electrolit will be available on the course and at the finish. Snacks and recovery drinks must be consumed off the track in the concourse area. A first aid team will be positioned on the north side of the track and will also rove the course.
Packet pick up is available the day before at Parking Lot C on campus and on race day at Jessie Owens Stadium. There is parking available behind the stadium in Lot K; directional signs will be posted. Sponsors and volunteer opportunities are noted by the organizer.
