Event overview
The Electric City Gobbler takes place on Thanksgiving Day, November 27, 2025, in Anderson, SC at Anderson Mall (1313 Main Street). The event includes these distances:

Entry fees listed on the event page are $30 for the 5K and $5 for the 1 Mile. The 5K price increases after November 26, 2025. T-shirts are available for an additional fee. Strollers are welcome and costumes are encouraged. Proceeds support scholarship programs for children through the Operation Active Kids (OAK) program.
Course, logistics and awards
The 5K is a certified course on city streets surrounding Anderson Mall (SC04033BS). The 1 Mile course is enclosed around the mall. Packet pickup is scheduled for Wednesday, November 26, the day before the race, at the mall from noon until 6 PM. The finish area will provide medals and hydration.
Awards include certificates and prizes for the top three male and female overall winners and the top three male and female masters winners. Age-group categories range from 10 and under through 80+.
