Electric City Gobbler Thanksgiving Day Tradition
The event is scheduled for Thanksgiving Day, November 26, 2026, at Anderson Mall in Anderson, SC (1313 Main Street, Anderson, SC 29621). The program includes multiple running events held around the mall and on nearby city streets. Proceeds support scholarship programs for local children through the Operation Active Kids Program (OAK).

The 5K course is a certified city-street course (SC04033BS). The 1 Mile Fun Run and the Feathers on Fire 1 Mile Time Trial are held on an enclosed course around the mall. Packet pick up is available the day before the race, Wednesday, November 25, at the mall. Finish-line provisions include medals and hydration. The 5K awards top three male and female overall, top three male and female masters, and top three male and female grandmasters. The 1 Mile Time Trial awards top three male and female overall. Age groups are listed from 10 and under up through 80+. Registration includes a chipped bib and a finish-line medal; souvenir shirts are optional for an additional fee. Strollers are allowed and costumes are encouraged. Directions note that Anderson Mall is approximately five miles from I-85 via Exit 19A.
