Eldorado Run for the Cure
The Eldorado Run for the Cure is an annual charitable four mile running event held in Eldorado Springs, Colorado, with the course beginning and ending at the Eldorado Springs Pool at 294 Artesian Drive. The course is a four mile out and back route run twice, where participants climb and descend a gently sloping dirt road and follow sections along South Boulder Creek and through the high cliff walls of Eldorado Canyon on the current course introduced in 2023.
Post-run offerings include catered food and drink, and prizes such as gift certificates to local restaurants are awarded across multiple age levels. Organizers describe the course as well suited to people of various ages and abilities.
All proceeds from the event benefit the Colorado Cancer Foundation, including funding for oncology research at the University of Colorado Division of Medical Oncology and support for patients at the CU Hospital in Aurora, Colorado.
