The Downtown Christmas Run takes place Thursday, December 11, 2025, in Shreveport, Louisiana. The event center is Rhino Coffee at 624 Texas St., Shreveport, LA 71101. The run uses a three-loop course totaling 3.1 miles. The course passes among Christmas lights and decorations and features Christmas music. Dogs are not allowed on the course.

Entry, packet pick-up, awards and policies
Registration fees change by date: early registration through November 14 is $25; November 15-30 is $30; December 1-10 is $35; race day registration is $40. There is a $5 reduction if the registrant declines a race shirt. Packet pick-up is available Monday December 8 through Wednesday December 10 from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm at Sportspectrum, and on race day at Sportspectrum and at the race site beginning at 5:30 pm.
Awards for the Adult 5k include overall male and female gift certificates ($100 and $75) to Sportspectrum and age-group prizes for specified male and female categories. Kids 5k overall winners receive $50 gift cards and age-group awards. Refund policy: 100% refund if cancel more than 30 days before the race, 50% refund if cancel between 30 days and two weeks before the race, no refunds less than two weeks before the race.
