EJ Autism 4 Mile Run/Walk
EJ Autism is an annual community running event held at East Islip Marina Park on the Great South Bay. The event includes multiple distance options, a certified course, and post-race amenities and gatherings.

The 4 mile course is described as flat and USATF certified. The event features a post-race party and raffle at Shandon Court, with live music and vendor presence. All 4 mile finishers receive medals. Cash prizes are listed for top overall and masters finishers, with amounts for the top three overall and a masters prize. Age-group awards are given across standard youth and adult categories. The school district that brings the most participants receives a $1000 grant.
Logistics and access Pre-race packet pickup is available at Shandon Court with day-of check-in and packet pickup at East Islip Marina. Parking is available at the marina but attendees should expect delays and periodic road closures on Bayview Avenue and surrounding streets; road marshals will allow crossings when safe. Strollers are permitted at no cost when the child is registered and should start toward the back of the field. Dogs are not encouraged.
