2026 EJ Autism 4 Mile Run/Walk
The EJ Autism 4 Mile Run/Walk, formerly known as Jigsaw, takes place at East Islip Marina Park in New York. This event is part of the USATF-LI Grand Prix, Long Island's Running Series. The primary course is a 4 mile run or walk that features a flat and fast route through a local neighborhood, with a scenic start and finish situated on the Great South Bay.
The event includes several participation options:
- 4 mile run/walk
- 1.27 mile (The John McGorry Irish Mile)
- 1/4 mile Kiddie Fun Run
The 4 mile course is USATF certified. Participants in the 1/4 mile Kiddie Run, which is untimed and open to those ages 14 and under, receive finisher awards. Participants who register at least three weeks before the event receive a personalized bib. Strollers are permitted at the event, while dogs are not encouraged.
Participants have access to various amenities, including a race t-shirt and post-event activities. A post-race gathering featuring a raffle and live music is held at Shandon Court in East Islip following the conclusion of the runs. All finishers of the 4 mile event receive medals. Cash awards are provided for top overall finishers and masters (40+) categories, along with age group awards ranging from 8-12 to 80+.
