EJ Autism 4 Mile Run/Walk
The event is an annual community run and walk held at East Islip Marina Park in East Islip, New York. It features a main 4 mile run/walk plus additional shorter races for varied participation.

The course is described as flat and fast with a scenic start and finish on the Great South Bay. The course is USATF certified. All finishers in the 4 mile receive medals.
Post-race amenities include a race tee shirt, a party and raffle at Shandon Court, and on-course support. Awards include cash prizes for top overall finishers and masters, age group awards for multiple brackets, and a $1000 grant for the school district that brings the most participants.
Logistics include pre-race check-in at Shandon Court and packet pickup or day of registration at East Islip Marina. Parking is available at the marina, though road closures and intermittent delays on Bayview Avenue and nearby streets are expected. Strollers are permitted free of charge with on-site paper registration and should start near the back. Dogs are not encouraged. Payment options accepted include cash, check, credit card, Venmo and Zelle. Registration is not transferable and not refundable; fundraising options can affect registration fees.
