The event is in its 17th year and takes place at SIUE Lot F, 35 Circle Dr., Edwardsville, IL 62026. The event combines a community 5K Fun Run and Walk with a separate kids event. Participation has regularly exceeded 1,400 runners, and 2025 recorded 1,863 participants. The course uses campus roads and includes a short loop for children that shares part of the 5K route.
