Edwardsville Turkey Trot 5K
The Edwardsville Turkey Trot is a Thanksgiving morning running event held in Edwardsville, Illinois, on the Southern Illinois University Edwardsville campus at SIUE Lot F near the Student Fitness Center. The event includes both a distance race and a youth run and takes place on a looped course that uses campus roads and paths.

The Kids Fun Run is a half mile loop that runs on a portion of the 5K route. Proceeds from the event benefit Edwardsville Neighbors, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides financial assistance to District 7 families during times of crisis.
Awards are presented as turkey trophies to the top three male and female overall finishers, the top male and female masters (40+), and top three finishers in multiple age groups including 10 & under through 70+. Event swag options are offered, including a custom Edwardsville Neighbors LED belt bag and event logo headwear such as an embroidered trucker hat or a logo beanie.
