Education Foundation Ringling Bridge Run
The Education Foundation of Sarasota County hosts the third annual Ringling Bridge Run on Sunday, April 26, 2026, in Sarasota, Florida. The event includes three options for participants:
- 5K
- 10K
- Family fun run free with strollers and service dogs welcome
The run is staged at The Bay, 1055 Blvd of the Arts, Sarasota. Parking is provided at Van Wezel Performing Arts, 777 N. Tamiami Trail, and the race start is a short walk from that lot. Route maps are available for the 5K, 10K, and the fun run. Each 5K and 10K registration includes a race shirt and a finisher medal; this year both items feature color-changing elements.
Proceeds support the Education Foundation of Sarasota County, a nonprofit that funds programs for public school teachers and students in Sarasota County. The event is sanctioned by the Manasota Race Club. Organizers request that walkers and stroller users start and remain behind runners for safety. Packet pick-up dates are listed as to be announced and packets not claimed by the last pick-up will be forfeited.
During the race the city will adjust bridge lanes so participants can cross safely and traffic will be directed by the Sarasota Police Department. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
