Education Foundation Ringling Bridge Run
The Education Foundation Ringling Bridge Run is the third annual run hosted by the Education Foundation of Sarasota County on Sunday, April 26, 2026. The event includes a 5K, 10K, and a family fun run. It is held at The Bay, 1055 Boulevard of the Arts, Sarasota, FL 34236. Proceeds benefit the Education Foundation of Sarasota County, a nonprofit that supports public school teachers and students in Sarasota County.
Event format and logistics
Listed entry fees include: 5K $45, 10K $55, family fun run free, and a $25 registration fee for students (18 and under) and Sarasota County teachers. 5K and 10K registrations include a shirt and a finisher medal. Route maps are provided for each distance. Packet pick-up is scheduled for Thursday, April 23; Friday, April 24; and Saturday, April 25 (locations listed as TBA). Parking is available at Van Wezel Performing Arts Center, 777 N. Tamiami Trail; the race starting line is a short walk from that parking area. During the event, traffic on the Ringling Bridge will be managed so the eastbound side allows two-way traffic while the westbound side is closed; traffic control will be provided by the Sarasota Police Department.
