Edmund Ganem Memorial 5K Run/Walk
The Edmund Ganem Memorial 5K Run/Walk is scheduled for May 3, 2026 at Terryville High School, 33 North Harwinton Ave, Terryville, CT. The event includes a measured USATF 5K course with an online course map and printed maps available on race day. Extra course officials and direction markers are provided along the route.

The event offers separate categories for 5K runners and walkers and a team-based 2.5k kids relay. Kids relay teams pay per runner; teams receive a goodie bag, certificates for each runner, and a relay completion medal. Relay participants receive both team time and personal lap time when they run.
Timing is fully automated and the race uses a rolling start to maintain accurate results for all participants. Results and finalized times are posted online after the event, and awards are given to overall male and female winners as well as first-place finishers in age categories. All runners and walkers who complete the course receive a finisher award.
