Edgerton Rascal Run
The Edgerton Rascal Run is a long-standing community event held in Edgerton, Wisconsin. The event serves as a fundraiser to support the local Edgerton Cross Country Team. Participants can choose between two main events:
- 5k Run/Walk (3.1 miles)
- 1-Mile Run/Walk
The course for the 5k distance travels throughout the town, while both events begin at Edgerton's Racetrack Park located at 598 Stoughton Road. These races are open to all ages and activity levels. Professional timing services are provided by It’s Race Time, Inc.
Registration for the event is conducted exclusively online. Even for those registering on the day of the event at the park, participants must use the online system via provided QR codes. Cash payments are accepted on-site, but the digital registration process remains mandatory. Participants who register by June 26th are guaranteed a commemorative t-shirt and a medal; those registering after this date may not receive these items.
Awards are presented for both distances. For the 5k, prizes are awarded to the top overall male and female finishers, as well as the top finishers in age groups ranging from 18 and under to 70 and older. The 1-mile event also features male and female age group awards beginning with ages 4 and under. Complimentary refreshments and post-race fuel are available for runners following the completion of their events. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
