Eden Marathon and Half-Marathon
The Eden Marathon and Half Marathon is a running event at the Eden Project in Cornwall, scheduled for Sunday 18 October 2026. The event offers two race distances:
- Marathon
- Half Marathon
Both courses run through countryside with areas of mining heritage. The routes are hilly and multi terrain. The Marathon is roughly 70% on trails, paths and private roads and 30% on public roads. The Half Marathon is roughly 60% on public roads and 40% on trails and paths. The course is waymarked and marshals will be posted at various locations.
Services on the day include marked water stations approximately every three miles with non plastic recyclable cups, isotonic drinks at specific points, chip timing and free online race analysis via RunPix. Every finisher receives a themed medal, and all runners receive a pasty and a beer. Runners and accompanying family members receive free entry to the Eden Project on the day. Baggage storage is available for one bag per runner. There are no shower facilities and the wearing of headphones is not permitted in line with UKA regulations.
Entry details include age limits of 18 for the Marathon and 17 for the Half Marathon, refundable entry rights within a 14 day cooling off period, and pricing tiers with early bird and full price windows. The Marathon has a strict overall cut off of five and a half hours with interim cut off points during the race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
