Echo 136 - Whitewater, WI

Echo 136 is a 136 Miler trail race held in Whitewater, Wisconsin, organized by TYDISH Running and staged on the Ice Age State Trail through the Southern Unit of the Kettle Moraine State Forest. The course includes wide groomed trails, singletrack, bike paths and road connectors and is laid out to follow the Ice Age State Trail from the Rice Lake boat launch to County P.

Runners are allowed a 55 hour time limit to complete the course. The organizer provides nine fully stocked aid stations with covered tents, chairs, cots, water, soda, ice, an electrolyte drink and a range of food options; the stations are located at approximate mile markers used from the FarOut Ice Age trail map. Total elevation gain is approximately 11,148 feet with a loss of about 10,961 feet; the organizer notes measurement variability across devices.

Event policies include no race day sign ups, no alcohol provided by the organizer, no cowbells or loud noise makers, and a cupless policy where disposable single serve cups are not provided and personal vessels will be refilled. Crew misconduct can lead to disqualification. Minimum ages are specified: participants must be 18 years to register and pacers must be 16 years or older unless accompanied by an adult.
