Eat. Run. Adopt. 10K : Berthoud, CO
Eat. Run. Adopt. 10K is a community 10 kilometer event held in Berthoud, Colorado on August 8, 2026, with the course based around local streets near 375 Meadowlark Dr. The event pairs a running event and an expo with a fundraising purpose: a portion of registration proceeds supports Scroungy Dogs and Pretty Pups Rescue, a local 501(c)(3) nonprofit that rescues and rehomes dogs and cats across Northern Colorado. The event is produced in partnership with Berthoud Pet Supply.
Participants follow a route that includes staffed food sampling stations operated by local restaurants. Runners wear a wristband that is hole punched at each station to confirm visits; samples may be eaten at the finish but wristband punches are used as verification. Prizes include BOLDERBoulder 2027 entry plus a cash prize for the overall winner. Runners up in the men, women, kids, and seniors categories receive gift baskets containing items from local businesses.
