Organizers describe this event as Berthoud's first community-driven 10K. It is scheduled for 08/07/2027 at 375 Meadowlark Dr, Berthoud, Colorado. Registration opens 8/12/2026 and closes 5/2/2027; the registration fee is $20.00. The date was moved from July to August.
The event pairs a road race with a food-focused expo. Runners follow a route through town and stop at set up food aid stations to sample items from local restaurants. Participants receive a wristband that is hole punched at each station to confirm stops; samples may be collected and eaten at the finish provided the wristband shows the punches. Prizes are listed for the overall winner, age groups, and children.
A portion of registration proceeds will be donated to Scroungy Dogs and Pretty Pups Rescue, a local 501(c)(3) nonprofit that rescues and rehomes dogs and cats in Northern Colorado. The event is held in partnership with Berthoud Pet Supply and other local organizations.
