Eastnor Castle Mud Bath - Sunday 26 April 2026
The Eastnor Castle Mud Bath is a mud run held in Eastnor Castle Deer Park, Ledbury (HR8 1EN). The route seeks out muddy trails and water-filled troughs and includes natural obstacles such as fallen trees, gullies and uneven ground. Courses are well marked and marshalled.
Distances and age rules:
- 3km Mini Mud Bath : min age 4; children aged 6 and under must be accompanied.
- 6km : min age 12 solo; 10 and 11 year olds may run if accompanied.
- 10km : min age 14.
Accompanying adults may attend free without being registered as participants; maximum ratio 1 adult to 2 children and children must remain with their adult. Accompanying adults who want a medal should register. Buggy and canicross runners are not suitable for these courses.
Facilities and services include on-site toilets, changing tent, bag drop, coffee vans and caterers, with a finish buffet offering gluten-free, dairy-free and vegan options. There are no drinks stations on the 3km or 6km and one drinks station on the 10km. Camping is available for Friday and Saturday nights at £10 per person per night; there are no electric hookups. Parking costs £2 per car; the nearest train station is Ledbury, about 4 miles away.
Online entry fees are £20 for 3km, £35 for 6km and £40 for 10km, with a £5 surcharge on the day. Groups may qualify for discounts. Prizes are awarded by age categories and depend on numbers of finishers. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
